James Cameron reveals his next movie after Avatar 3. Discover the details about the director’s upcoming film, plot hints, release plans, and what fans can expect next.

Renowned director James Cameron has unveiled his next cinematic venture, marking his first non-Avatar project since 1997’s “Titanic.” The upcoming film, titled Last Train from Hiroshima, will delve into the harrowing true story of Tsutomu Yamaguchi, a man who survived both atomic bombings in Hiroshima and Nagasaki during World War II.
Expressing his long-standing interest in the subject, Cameron stated, “It’s a story I’ve wanted to tell for years. Meeting Yamaguchi just days before his passing left a profound impact on me. He entrusted us with his story, and I feel compelled to bring it to the screen”.
While no official release date has been announced, production is expected to commence once Cameron completes work on the remaining Avatar sequels. Avatar 3: Fire and Ash is slated for release on December 19, 2025, followed by Avatar 4 in 2029 and Avatar 5 in 2031.
