In a new exclusive, actress Sarita Choudhury opens up about her character Seema Patel’s struggles with love in the hit Max series And Just Like That. The Sex and the City reboot continues to explore the lives of its beloved characters. Seema, a confident and successful real estate agent, is one of the newest and most talked-about characters on the show.
Sarita Choudhury shared that even though Seema is strong and independent, she faces many challenges when it comes to finding love. In season two, fans watched Seema try using a matchmaker. But things didn’t go as planned.
“She doesn’t like being told what to do,” Choudhury said in an interview. “The matchmaker kept pushing a certain kind of man. Seema wants love, but she doesn’t want to settle. That causes a lot of tension.”
The actress explained that Seema’s journey is different from the other characters. While Carrie and Charlotte had long-term relationships or marriages, Seema is still single and figuring things out. The show highlights her cultural background, independence, and personal standards — all of which play into her dating struggles.

With season three on the way, fans are eager to see what’s next for Seema. Will she finally find the right person? Or will she choose to stay happily single? Either way, Choudhury promises more surprises ahead.
